All Miocon team members strive to do their best when it comes to going green, at home, in our office, and in our customer environment.
Here’s a list of our efforts:
- We properly recycle paper, cardboard, and plastics acquired from office use and packing materials using third party recycling vendors.
- We properly recycle electronics equipment using third party vendors who practice environmental and people friendly recycling practices.
- Any cardboard boxes, paper, plastics, or recyclable materials obtained during installations and deployments are transported back to Miocon for proper recycling.
- We will pick up old electronics equipment from active customers on service calls or other planned visits. This includes cables, monitors, computers, routers, switches, hubs, UPS systems, or anything that plugs in or has electronics)
- Where applicable we will reuse old electronics (computers, network equipment, etc.) by either preparing them for resale or by donating them to local charities.
